On the 30th and 31st of October the SAINT consortium was present at the CTI-EU event held by ENISA in Rome. Cyber security issues and more specifically cyber threat intelligence were the main areas covered by a rich agenda during both days. A significant number of institutions, research centers, industry representatives and other stakeholders participated in workshops and discussions concluding to some valuable insights for the future of cyber security.

SAINT will be presenting at the ENISA’s CTI-EU Bonding EU Cyber Threat Intelligence event in Rome, 30th & 31st October 2017. Within the CTI capabilities, skills, education and training and research segment, SAINT will present the motives of the project and its early results.
The event will cover the subject of Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) and is named CTI-EU. It will be organized by ENISA with the support of various EU services. DG-Connect/H4 and Europol / EC3 have already confirmed their support while the goal is to have the support of more EU bodies before the event.

On May 4th and 5th 2017 the consortium members of the SAINT project had their first physical meeting. Organized by the National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos”, (coordinator of this endeavor) the 2-day meeting was held in Athens at NCSR “Demokritos” premises. The Project Officer Mr. Markus Müller (EC REA) attended the meeting giving helpful insights and guidelines to all partners.
